SIRIM Berhad and Public Gold Mint Sdn. Bhd, under Public Gold International Sdn Bhd, has successfully signed on the Memorandum of Understanding to mark their official collaboration to safeguard the standard and quality of gold product fabrications, today.
SIRIM Berhad was represented by Dato’ Indera Dr. Ahmad Sabirin Arshad, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of SIRIM Berhad while Public Gold Mint, was represented by Dato’ Wira Louis Ng, Founder and Executive Chairman of PG Group.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Tan Sri Dr. Ir. Ahmad Tajuddin Ali, Chairman of SIRIM Berhad.
This collaboration aims to promote the Malaysian gold market towards the existing gold standards set by SIRIM that include Malaysian Standard MS 1247 and SIRIM Industrial Standard SIRIM 21, that are collectively categorised as SIRIM’s Gold Standard, through gold products produced by Public Gold Mint to indicate that the products have undergone stringent testing, fabricating, supervision and control, as part of its quality assurance.
