We are thrilled that the first World Future Day meet up was held in Montessori School in Erbil in Kurdistan.
We thank the Head of Montessori school and teachers who warmly welcomed this day and the meet up and by thinking futuristically, are getting ready to build bright futures for children in Kurdistan.
In this day a very crucial topic was presented to the children of the school to learn about futures and Futures Thinking which is one of the most important subjects in 21st century.
In this presentation you will hear about preparing ourselves for a very different world in the next 10 years. Children are also encouraged to think about futures like a futurist in order to be able to create bright futures for themselves and the world they are living in.

Three floors of immersive exhibitions will focus on the possible futures of outer space resource development, ecosystems and bioengineering; and health, wellness, and spirituality. Another floor will showcase near-future technologies that will transform our world by addressing challenges in areas such as health, water, food, transportation and energy. The final floor will be dedicated for children, where they will explore and solve challenges in their own inimitable way to become our “future heroes”

The Museum of the Future’s design comes from architect Shaun Killa, a long-time veteran of Dubai’s architecture sector. The museum was his first commission after striking out on his own. According to Killa, the design of the museum aims to represent Dubai’s vision of the future, and consists of three main elements: the hill, the structure, and the void.
1⃣ “The green hill represents the earth, with solidity, permanence, and rootedness in place, time and history...
2⃣The glimmering, futuristic upper building represents mankind, with all of its strength, artistry and ability to create in harmony with its surroundings,” Killa’s design agency explains.
3⃣ “Lastly, the elliptical void within the upper structure represents innovation. This is done primarily by creating an empty space showing the unwritten future into which humanity, and the world, can symbolically look towards.”
