When in the Zimbabwe border North bound be on the lookout for these spikes. There are no danger warning signs.
The border is starting to get congested with travellers making an early start to the holidays. If you are travelling north be prepared to be on the Zimbabwe side for up to three hours.

Internet availability in Zim is still basic, social media is still not accessible. Mobile phone calls and SMS are available, so buy a local simcard and start sending messages or get telegram messaging application, it was not affected by the shutdown.

Has anyone travelled all the way from Harare to Beitbridge. How was the situation on the way. Anything you feel other travellers should take note of?
The border is quiet. There was an increase in the number of travellers but almost all of them went through either side with little delay. We however are still encouraging travellers to start and end their journeys during daylight.
Easter is just around the corner, what are your travelling arrangements
