✨ LIVE IELTS SPEAKING PRACTICE
Today I've run a live lesson for 25 students from an Indian school called IELTS Cafe. We had a blast!
Not only did we practice real-difficulty IELTS questions, but also laughed a lot. Because IELTS is fun! 🙌🏻
📍Some things I have pointed out from the practice:
1) don't use overly complicated words! Using "plethora" in a casual answer about movies will make you sound out of context.
2) don't use "very" with strong adjectives like "overwhelmed" or "jubilant". Use "absolutely" instead. "Very" is for weaker adjectives.
For example: "I was absolutely jubilant to see you, you make me very happy!"

😢 NO MONEY FOR STUDIES ABROAD?
Most of my friends have studied abroad and this experience has truly changed their lives. For example, Lisa from Argentina who landed the job of her dreams after she got band 7.5 on IELTS 🙊
