The topic for this week is school and university - without any doubts. Here you are - a great list of synonyms to the "repeat" verb.
The picture is too long yet cute.
Today we decided to tell you about different types of students, which might be unfamiliar to you:

stellar = a star performer
hard-working = someone who tries
straight A = a student who always gets top marks
plodder = someone who works consistently, but isn't particularly brilliant
mediocre = not bad, average
abysmal = terrible

Were you a straight A one?

We hope that you don't make such graphs for your projects, guys.
We are real eager beavers here.
Yep, it's just a photo for you to relax.
Hope you have rested enough and here is a long read time!

We decided to make a long read rather short, yep.

What is one thing you wish you had known before starting college?

That was the question on Quora, and Richard Muller, Prof of Physics in UC Berkeley and the author "Now -The Physics of Time" answered in such a way:

"That there are some students who have been to prep school, and they know the score. They seem super smart, but in reality they are just pre-socialized to the college environment. They know how to talk to professors, they know how to study complex material, and they seem completely confident.

The trick is to not be intimidated by them, but to watch them and learn their tricks."

* intimidated = filled with fear
That's a true story, right?

By the way, don't forget that we don’t add ‘s’ when we give an exact number, but we do add 's' in phrases like 'millions of people'.
Eager beavers never cut school!
The topic for the week is professions and work.

Let's hit the ceiling!
It's more of a stereotype - yet it's funny :)
That's perfect.
Better late than too late, yep?
Beat up for = to strongly criticize someone.
Don't be a cold piece of work - be forthcoming and sociable!
Don't worry, be happy, keep calm and study English :)

Yep, there are too many mottos here.
We have found a captivating video from TED that's worth sharing:

...we believe that we should work to be happy, but could that be backwards? In this fast-moving and entertaining talk from TEDxBloomington, psychologist Shawn Achor argues that actually happiness inspires productivity.
