William Kirkbride is a former Labour Councillor.
He has rushed to the defence of Ivor Caplin saying:
"He is a horny gay man who wanted a sexual encounter and age did not concern him, or so it seems. 15 or 16 his age being early 60's. Is he a monster."
Kirkbride himself was jailed for 28 months after meeting what he thought was a 14 year old boy but was in fact a Police sting.
Kirkbride is now free and making posts like this.
Oh and on his X profile he says he was previously a Masonic 'WM' = Worshipful Master.
