Massive police failures over Wayne Couzens exposed in new report.
💥 Accusations of serial sexual abuse including rapes, before he used his status as a police officer to kidnap and murder Sarah Everard
💥 Alleged offending going back nearly 20 years, includes two allegations of rape, sexually assaulting a girl barely in her teens, and several incidents of indecent exposure
💥 Catastrophically flawed vetting allowed him to join force when he should have been rejected
💥 Vetting picked up he was in debt but in breach of the rules he was allowed to join the police in 2011 instead of being rejected
💥 He became a Metropolitan police officer in 2018, enabled by another error, and was entrusted with a gun as part of the parliamentary and diplomatic protection command
💥 In March 2021 with "Covid" restrictions still in place he drove around London hunting for a woman
"Policing culpable for leaving him at large" and "there may still be other officers as dangerous as Couzens within the police".
Policing has failed. Because the police only care about ticking boxes for equality purposes along with SDGs. The police force is full of criminals including serial sex offenders like Couzens.
Policing largely serves only to be a jackboot on the working class neck now, whilst those with money and status can commit crime without fear of penalty or investigation by the police.
Something has to change.
