THE UNDERTAKERS!
⚰️
In our lives, we all have undertakers around us! Some are visible, others are not.
Ironically, at one point or the other, we ourselves have been undertakers in the lives of others.
Throughout 2022, how many people can you say you added VALUE to their lives?
How many people did you DEPOSIT something positive into?
Can you count? Can you remember?
Or the only memory you have is of the people that turned you down when you called?
I've discovered that many of us have this habit of constantly asking from people we have not helped in any way.
Sometimes we assume that since they appear richer than us, we have nothing to offer them. But they should offer us the whole world. We feel entitled!!! Its this stupid feeling that makes some uncles, aunties and boss BLOCK US online.
You call them MENTOR, BOSS, CHAIRMAN, ROLE MODELS! Yet... Not once do you serve them! You Rate them only because you want to obtain them! You Fake Respect and Loyalty because you want to BEG!
There is NOTHING you are ready to GIVE! December came, you couldn't buy a Bottle of Wine to say THANK YOU! The closest you could do was disturb their phone with a generic WhatsApp message.
Every relationship you enter with people, the only thing on your mind is what to TAKE!
You Take! Take! Take! Until you become an UnderTAKER!
You become a parasite! This is why your relationships don't last!
Everyone you come in contact with cannot trace the VALUE you bring to their lives!
You have a Pastor who Feeds you with the Word! Encourages you when you are down! Send you urgent 2k at some point! Recommend you for opportunities!!! YET! You will never post a Church flier! You will never invite someone to Church! Your offering has been #50 for 5 years straight! And somehow you think you will not leave a retrogressive life?
When you are not useful to a person or system you are useless
You can't say you appreciate or value someone without GIVING to that person!
One measure to test loyalty is GIVING!
And when i say GIVING, I'm not talking about MONEY! Financial Poverty has constrained us to thinking GIVING has to be MONEY only. The reality is that there are a few other things that can be GIVEN outside money.
GIVE YOUR TIME
Be present when called upon! You can't be BROKE and too BUSY at the same time. It's impossible.
Bosses value people that are available! They appreciate people that they can count on to be present.
.One challenge with Bosses is TIME! There is so much to be done, but little time available to do it. Why can't you give a little bit of your TIME to this person you claim means so much to you? You don't have MONEY to give, but you have the TIME! Give it!!! Not because you are expecting something in return, but because you truly LOVE & APPRECIATE them.
GIVE YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA SPACE!
I am amazed when i see certain people go agog for a celebrity that don't know them, but will find it difficult to celebrate those who impart or add value to them daily.
They will always post pictures of famous pastors, but will hardly celebrate their own parents. Its wrong!
Its absurd that your BOSS/Mentor would have to appeal with you to publicize his projects or programs!
He is not asking you for money or to pay for venue.
Just post on your social media handles!
Just publicize the event!
Just show that you are happy!
You can easily GIVE these without losing anything.
GIVE YOUR WORDS:
A Simple THANK YOU SIR/MA.
A Simple Breakdown of the things you learned.
A Simple text message of appreciation!
A simple post online!
These things encourage your Boss/Mentor to do MORE!
And the best part is that... It costs you nothing!
Don't chat with someone you've not spoken to in a long while only to BEG for money!

Don't ask your mentor for money!
Don't beg your mentor for money!
If you need financial help, rather than BEG, offer a service or product to them for them to buy or patronize.
Organize a Paid Online or Offline event, invite them to speak (they wont charge you) and raise money.
Ask them to refer you or give you a shout out.
Do all these... Just don't beg
The only people that can make excuses for your begging or taking nature are your parents.
Outside them, every other person needs you to scratch their back also.
If you don't offer anything, you become a pest.
