Here are the crypto assets that Grayscale has announced they are considering creating new trusts for...
We are now publishing a weekly PODCAST. You can listen to the first ever Coinstack podcast here.

https://anchor.fm/coinstack

Our podcast will also be on Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, and Spotify in the next few days... we'll send the link when it goes live so you can subscribe.

We'd love your feedback on what you like, how we can improve, and what topics you'd like to hear about next week...
For those curious, right now I'm seeing very good buying opportunities in the market, particularly on ETH ($1850) & DOT. ($15.11).

We are in a transitionary sideways period during which most BTC mining in China is being shut down.

This is creating quite a good buying moment for long term holders.

I personally expect this current period of lower prices to last another 1-2 months or so, though its important to state that no one really knows.

For most investors, I recommend a dollar cost averaging (DCA) strategy in which you invest a bit every week -- so no matter which way prices go you're building your stack.

Definitely take advantage of times like this when prices are cheaper.

We will eventually be back to BTC $60k+, ETH $4k+, and DOT $50+.

A good summary of the point of view that we are in a time of shorter cycles comes from Larry Cermak, Director of Research at The Block from Saturday's The Breakdown podcast with NLW...

I’m doing some research for a Coinstack article on decentralized currency and the future of money. I’m curious what you think about this question...

By 2035, will the most used currency in the world be issued by a nation-state (e.g. dollar, yuan) or a decentralized network (btc, eth, dai, something else)?

What do you think?
Andressen Horowitz (A16Z) has announced the largest crypto fund ever with $2.2B in fresh capital... https://www.theblockcrypto.com/post/109408/a16z-third-crypto-venture-fund

The best investors in the world and the best talent in the world is flooding into the future of global finance.

"We believe that the next wave of computing innovation will be driven by crypto. We are radically optimistic about crypto’s potential to restore trust and enable new kinds of governance where communities collectively make important decisions about how networks evolve, what behaviors are permitted, and how economic benefits are distributed. That’s why today we’re pleased to announce a new $2.2 billion fund to continue investing in crypto networks and the founders and teams building in this space. This represents the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the a16z crypto team."

Here’s a great article from Bankless on whether cash flowing productive tokens like Sushi and Aave are better than currently non-cash flowing tokens like Uniswap and Compound...

https://newsletter.banklesshq.com/p/are-productive-defi-tokens-better

The takeaway: Uniswap and Aave have outperformed Sushi and Compound so far in terms of investment returns, so there’s no clear winner yet, but a very very important field to track. Ultimately any asset is worth the present value of its cashflows.

In the first six months of 2021, Bitcoin was up 20% ($28890 to $35,060) and Ethereum was up 208% ($737 to $2276). ETH grew in value 10x faster than BTC.

What do you think will happen in the 2nd Half of 2021?

What's your end of year price prediction for BTC and ETH?
