A speaking valve is a removable one-way valve that can be placed on a deflated or cuffless tracheostomy tube. It allows for inhalation through the valve and closes on exhalation to allow for airflow through the larynx, mouth, and nose. Use of a speaking valve can restore sense of smell and taste.
دریچه اسپیکینگ یک دریچه یک طرفه متحرک است که می تواند روی لوله تراکئوستومی خالی یا بدون کاف قرار گیرد. این اجازه می دهد تا از طریق دریچه استنشاق شود و در هنگام بازدم بسته می شود تا جریان هوا از طریق حنجره، دهان و بینی برقرار شود. استفاده از دریچه اسپیکینگ می تواند حس بویایی و چشایی را بازیابی کند.

موارد منع مصرف
موارد منع مصرف دریچه های صحبت کردن شامل انسداد شدید راه هوایی فوقانی، خطر آسپیراسیون، ترشحات فراوان، اختلال در شناخت یا بی ثباتی پزشکی است. بیماران هنگام خواب یا خواب باید دریچه صحبت کردن را خارج کنند. نظارت بر استفاده از شیرها بر اساس پروتکل در موسسات است.

These units, which are also commonly referred to as intermediate care units and transitional care units, are found in many, but not all, hospitals in developed nations.
