“Ivan Vasilyevich changes occupation”, 1973.

This is a movie by the great Soviet director Leonid Gaidai. His films have become classics, not only in Russia but all over the world. This movie is one of his most famous creations. It’s a real kaleidoscope of jokes, hilarious situations, and wonderful songs that made "Ivan Vasilyevich" a legend. The thing is it’s a bright and colorful fantasy movie, but there is nothing supernatural in it.

The plot of the film takes us to the capital of the Soviet Union, with its inexorable advance of technological progress. The main character, Shurik Demyanenko puts all his efforts to promote Russian science, handling experiments right at home. The script created by Gaidai based on the work of Bulgakov (famous Russian novelist) is full of wit and magnificent flashes that play out the adventures of people in an era unusual for them. Though, this movie associates only with positive emotions and a feeling of calm and joy.
