There's no reason for Felix's health to be on the decline -the hospital protocol is hurting him, no surprise.
I have retained an attorney.
My inlaws have been unresponsive to all of this recent developement. And my mom and SIL think "these things take time and just let the doctors do their thing and he's getting good care."
Dr Witcher in MS did connect with me. I hope he can help.
The doctor's notes are shoddy. I spent hours late last night printing out everything via the health portal. They have claimed to have talked to me when they haven't; one even wrote that he's spoken with Felix then a few sentences later said he couldn't do a mental evaluation because the patient is sedated.
I am fighting for all I have to save My Beloved. We still have a love story to write...

Thank you seems so inadequate to offer for the prayers you continue to pour over our family. But, itโs all I have at the moment.
Yes, Felix needs healing and protection.
What I really need as well, is a physician in Shelby County, TN, or one who may have hospital privileges at Baptist Memorial Memphis. Someone โcovid friendly.โ Or, perhaps a facility that is private and can accept Felix.
The situation is dire. Iโm told they wonโt move him for a CT scan of his chest with no dye because they think heโll die (we need to find out whatโs happening to the left side of his lung). I have no idea how heโs gone from stable and doing good with the sedation, to being agitated that they are now giving him paralytic drugs. Physical therapy has been ordered to see if itโs a mucus plug they can break up. Pray for calm and peace to wash over Felix. Please.

BREAKING: Middle Tennessee federal judge aims to block a law preventing schools from making mask requirements.

This federal judge (Waverly Crenshaw - Obama appointed activist judge) is overstepping his authority and slapping Tennesseans in the face with this order. The federal government has been given no enumerated powers concerning health or education. So how is this judge circumventing the 10th Amendment?
He is bastardizing the Americans with Disabilities Act and claiming the Supremacy Clause of the US Constitution. This overreach is egregious and must be brought to an end.
Per the Tennessee Constitution in Article XI, Section 12, the General Assembly has been given the duty of controlling our public education system here in the state. They and they alone have the authority to prescribe duties and powers to boards of education, not federal judges.
Here is what needs to happen. The state is being defended in this case by Attorney General Herbert Slatery.
Per 28 U.S.C. ยง 1292(a)(1), the AG has the ability to make an application for an interlocutory appeal directly to the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals and request a stay on this preliminary injunction. This can have an immediate effect.
The AG has a sworn duty to defend state law. We must protect our children from this tyranny. But we must also stand up and defend our state's rights. We cannot allow this federal ruling to stand without a fight. It is way out of bounds.
You can call the AG's office at (615) 741-3491 and ask them to immediately appeal to the 6th Circuit for a stay on this ruling by Judge Crenshaw regarding masks in schools.
