Before we made it into YCombinator - I was a fan of Paul Graham, Jessica Livingston and their philosophy for startups. Here’s some really great links for how to build a startup.

Over the past month a lot has happened. We’ve made progress on the QSP protocol, made new hires, completed several major audits, and have several more lined up. We’re also continuing our practice of participating in and giving back to the community by speaking at and supporting events around the world.

Here’s a rundown of some of the things that have been going on:

Martin Derka Our Security Research Engineer just published a medium article about the exploitation of the interface of Etherscan for Ethereum attacks

“It appears to be a game where someone, presumably the contract owner, asks a question. If a player guesses the correct answer, they receive the contract’s balance as a reward. When I found the contract, it was holding a balance of approximately 1.03 Ether. Fishy, right?”

"We’ve improved the robustness of our auditing nodes by improving test coverage, error handling, logging, and security

Auditing nodes are the heart of the QSP protocol. These nodes receive audit requests for smart contracts and run analyzers to verify the security of the contract. As the QSP protocol is meant to eventually be a decentralized protocol running in the wild, it’s essential that we make sure it is robust enough to handle errors, security issues, and edge cases."

This document is an overview of the Betanet release — version 0.1.0 of the Quantstamp protocol. Future iterations of the protocol will include more focus on decentralization and handling private audits. However, in the meantime, this iteration is a first step towards achieving those goals.
