PMI has announced that the PMI-RMP exam will be updated starting from April 2022.
The new PMI-RMP exam will cover updated terminology and processes, as well as enterprise-level risks.
Candidates will have the option to take the exam in either English or Arabic
The exam will have the same number of questions and will be approximately the same length.
The exam will have new multiple select questions. Predictive, agile, and hybrid approaches will be found throughout the tested domains
The new exam covers the following five domains:
Risk Strategy and Planning
Risk Identification
Risk Analysis
Risk Response
Monitor and Close Risks
PMI offers candidates the opportunity to take the new exam before it launches as part of our exam pilot program, you will receive a 20% rebate and one free re-take of the new exam if they do not pass the pilot exam. The PMI-RMP pilot exam will only be available in English.
