We wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support. With your help, we managed to help 1199 animals in need last year.
We currently have 118 animals under our care, with 63 on the road to recovery and 36 as our long-term residents; additionally, 19 are ready for adoption.
We started the year with ₹10 lakhs in our account, got ₹1.55 crores in funding. ₹15.5 lakh was profit donated by products and media, ₹4lakh was CSR, and ₹15 lakh was from a donor that specifically gave for the shortfall in hospital construction costs.
We spent ₹95 lakhs in finishing hospital construction, and ₹94 lakhs were our operational costs for our animal rescue. To cover the difference, we took a bank loan.
Even amidst crowded and noisy social media, our awareness content still reaches 100 million people every quarter across Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. Our videos were watched for close to 80 million hours in the last year.
We also launched Peepal Farm Toons (Instagram.com/peepalfarmtoons), a step aimed at inspiring children to be compassionate and mindful. Our goal is fewer adults with the regret "I wish I was nicer sooner" 😊
