It was about 15 years ago when I met Lakshmi Swaminathan/Sahgal. We had gone to Kanpur to interview her, in 2008.

She spoke of memories of serving in Indian National Army as the head of Rani Jhansi Regiment and minister of women's affairs. Her descriptions of experiences on 'maidan-e-jung' were very vivid.

She also wrote a letter to us and signed it with her name and rank in INA. Still goosebumps.

Enlightenment is a very difficult topic conceptually and every year, at least one question is asked, either directly or on thinkers.

These are the notes from our History Optional Foundation batch of 2023-24.

Sriram Tarnikanti IAS 92 is the new Director of LBSNAA, Mussoorie.

Originally from what was known as Manipur-Tripura cadre back then, in 99-97 he was DM of Churanchandpur District, where he handled ethnic clashes very well.

He will be the head of LBSNAA, when you clear the exam this year and join it next year.

Keep the night lamp burning.

Statue of Oneness being unveiled on 18th.

Last time we had the Statue of Equality of Acharya Ramanujacharya and there was a question in Prelims.

Adi Shankaracharyas philoaophy is as important and rather more fundamental in nature. Do read about it.

I have also discussed his ideas in this video which will definitely be useful to understand the context of his ideas.
