One of my students asked me when the GBB25 wildcard competition was due.
I told him it was on the 22nd of March, and he told me that’s A LOT of time to prepare!
I answered: “No. It’s not. That's a bit more than a month.” - and let me tell you why.
Beatbox has normalized last-minute wildcards.
If your GBB wildcard is not ALREADY composed, it’s pretty late to start working on it.
Why do 99% of beatboxers wait for the announcement to start working on their wildcard?
Do you think the greatest athletes on Earth prepare for the Olympic Games only when the event is announced?
The answer is surely no. It’s a matter of years of physical and mental preparation.
There’s even a job called “physical trainer” or “mental trainer” whose purpose is to train athletes so they maximize their chances of winning.
If you’re like the 99% of beatboxers who prepare, fully or partially, only when the event is announced, then you’re not likely to stand out.
Be in that top 1% beatboxers who prepare their mind, their technical skills, their tracks in advance.
Pro tip: Have your wildcard round 100% ready and before the announcement is out.
Then it’s just a matter of recording, so you’re relieved of the mental stress of not being able to record the perfect track.
My name is NAZCA, and I’m a professional beatbox trainer. I approach beatbox training with intensive physical and mental preparation,
If you need training, we can talk about your project in a free discovery call (serious beatboxers only!).

The 15-Minute Beatbox Workout for Faster Improvement
You’ve hit a plateau? Or progressing slowly?
In just 15 minutes a day, you can already improve faster than 95% of beatboxers.
First, you need to identify where you need to improve.
You have two choices:
Refining your strengths
Solidifying your weaknesses
Ideally, work on both, 15 minutes a day.
But if you’re short on time, you can proceed by intermittent training phases.
Focus on refining your strengths 15 minutes a day for 30 days.
Then switch to solidifying your weaknesses for another 30 days,
Then repeat.
You can train across 8 key areas, depending on your goals (battle, performance, artistry).
Here are the 8 areas you can improve:
Precision & Execution (timing, cleanliness - material targeted)
Research & Development (sound design, or crafting new grooves)
Composition (turning your tracks into full pieces)
Rehearsals (mastering the execution of your tracks and memorizing them)
Vocal Training (improving your pitch and vocal technique)
Tag-Team Crew Training (if you have any)
Freestyle (improving your freestyle abilities - learning about structure)
Analysis (deep-diving into track or beatboxer analysis)
Choose one area for your next 30 days. Don’t miss a day (very important!).
If you want to structure your training sessions even further, discover the full method here: https://www.nazcabeats.com/shop/p/how-to-beatbox-workout-e-book

How to Dominate in Beatbox Battle (Even If You’re Nervous)
Showing yourself nervous on stage highly increases your odds of losing in a beatbox battle
Studies have shown that choking under pressure can cause a performance drop by 10-20% due to reduced focus & cognitive function, and increased muscle tension. (Beilock & Carr, 2001)
Translated to beatbox, anxiety causes significant performance in the cleanliness of sounds, endurance and power.
A study on athletes shows that mental factors contribute to around 50% of an athlete’s success, with confidence and composure being crucial. (Gould et al., 2002)
Here’s how you build confidence in beatbox competitions:
1. Prepare
“Anticipation is key.” - D-low, 2019.
There’s nothing more to say other than the fact that preparing your rounds allows you to focus entirely on your stage performance and proper execution.
If you’re not fully prepared, your focus will be spread all over your mind.
Your brain will expend a huge amount of energy managing structure, timing, movements, power, flow, cleanliness, and breath control – all at the same time!
When you’ve rehearsed your tracks, your brain already understands the intention behind them, making timing, flow, power, cleanliness, and breath control second nature.
On stage, you’ll just need to focus on crowd control and stage presence to stay dominant.
2. Keep your state of mind private
As you prepare, you become confident, and your opponent won’t be able to put you under pressure.
Don’t say anything or show any facial expressions that reveal how you feel, even if you’re nervous.
In September 2023, I won a beatbox battle thanks to this technique, even though I was nervous.
In January 2024, I performed another battle. I was theoretically more prepared because my tracks were louder, cleaner and more original.
However, I choked during my 2nd round which caused my performance to drop. I was not clean or powerful anymore.
My nervousness was visible.
Keep in mind that judges favor confident performers who own the stage, making visible nervousness a liability.
This day, my opponent was more confident, thus cleaner and louder.
A few months later, I came back with a more confident mindset, which allowed me to win a battle with 6 straight wins – undefeated.
3. Feel light on stage
My experience has taught me not to care too much about battles.
You’re nervous when you take it TOO seriously.
Throw your ego away.
Does it really change anything in your life if you lose today?
What matters is your own progress.
You can still train every day to become a better beatboxer, and your performance will improve over time.
And if your performance gets worse, just ask yourself what went wrong – you can still fix it.
If you want to build your experience through training and performing, we can talk about your project in a free discovery call (serious beatboxers only!).

3 ways to monetize beatbox
Many beatboxers take Beatbox as something unserious.
Be among the top 5% and earn money with beatbox, let me show you how:
1/ Gigs
Indeed, you can play gigs. To do that, I’ll recommend to follow these steps:
1. Create 4 to 8 solo beatbox tracks
2. Produce 2 of them (audio + video) ➡ DM me for pro mix & master.
3. Canvass 100+ organizations (cultural organizations, concert halls,…)
4. Close deals with a signed contract
The produced tracks will serve for you as a demonstration for the organizations you’ll canvass.
2/ Run a youtube channel
In fact, you can perform beatbox, or talk about it and be paid! Isn’t that fantastic?
And there is plenty of content to create on beatbox.
You can do entertaining videos, educational content, or music performances! It’s up to you.
3/ Give physical workshops
This is the most accessible one among the 3, and I’ve been doing that for 4 years now!
Here’s the quick process:
1. Create a 2 hours initiation programme for beginners
2. Canvass cultural organizations.
3. Start doing physical workshops.
4. As you get experience, canvass more organizations. Close deals and get paid.
Get a real strategy
🙌 I will teach you my special method that gathers my expertise as a beatbox teacher, that I've been using for 4 years to make money as a beatboxer.
You'll learn:
👉 What kind of workshops to propose
👉 The required equipment
👉 How to price the workshops
👉 Which organisations to contact
👉 How to contact them with a template tracking sheet
👉 How to write emails + 1 email example
and more!
💵 Return on investment guarenteed by applying this professionnal step by step method, after your first workshop. ➡ contact@nazcabeats.com or DM

🧠 Self-confidence changes everything. It gets you respect in society, better opportunities, and more money. While I used to feel weak, sports and beatboxing helped me build that mindset.
Work on your confidence, and life will reward you. 💪
The 5 pillars of a balanced life:
1. Sleep enough in good quality
2. Eat well (seek for mediteranean diet)
3. Physical activity (I beat asthma, anxiety, overthinking and tachychardia thanks to it)
4. Social life (enjoy your family, friends and avoid toxicity)
5. Meditation (think about the creation, and practice gratitude)

Hey Beatboxer Fam!
Yes, I stopped the 365 days Inward K Snare Challenge,
And I have no strong feelings about it.
I could feel guilty, not to finish this challenge I had started.
I could be scared that my image of the "motivated guy" is gone...
But honestly, after 90 days, I don't care at all anymore.
Here's the reasons why I stopped:
- Time consumer: it takes so much time to get the right pattern with the right number of K Snares
- Algorhythm killer: As I have many short videos in advance, this challenge made me post twice a day, and my views were affected - which reduces the exposure and potential clients.
- Low skills boost: It didn't challenge me as much as I expected. Maybe I'll do day 365 just for fun.
So yeah, I have no strong feelings about it.
Most personal development gurus will tell you to finish what you started.
I find that hard to take seriously.
Life has a way of shifting our goals, and it's rare (and even risky) not to revisit them from time to time, especially when we lack reflection and perspective.
Here's my current focus with Nazca: (outside from my personal life and other professional opportunities)
• The new version of my website, offering better user experience and more attractice prices.
• Following-up my students to ensure maximum progression.
• Beatbox Workshops (I'm just back from 4-days beatbox bootcamp for children)
• Upcoming youtube videos
Stay tuned! I'll get back to you soon with more information regarding my website.
In the meantime, you can learn how to train properly your beatbox with: https://www.nazcabeats.com/shop/p/how-to-beatbox-workout-e-book
