👉 Are Beatboxers musicians or athletes?
I believe we are a mix of both. Let me share my thoughts:
🎵 We are making sounds from our mouth, in order to create music, making us musicians! Indeed, we beatboxers design our sounds, play with rhythms and notes, and compose our tracks if we do not freestyle (freestyling is also about performing music!)
💪 We are also pushing our limits, beyond the known abilities of the human body. New sounds are discovered and designed every year. New performance records are beaten (fastest beatbox, battle statistics…). To push ourselves, we work hard out – in various fields (power, cleanliness, pitch precision, freestyle abilities, composing abilities, originality in sound design…)
📙 My philosophy is that we are sportingly musical. Let me repeat it again, we are sportingly musical.
Music is the center of beatbox, it is the main pillar. Sports are involved in the way of working out our beatbox. We push hard to sound loud, we break down to understand, we rehearse and repeat A LOT to succeed in the execution of a single technique, we tweak it over the days to make it a bit louder, a bit faster, a bit cleaner… Day by day!
That’s the beauty of Beatbox. We spread music, while being physically active, while pushing our limits, to honor the human body, to honor ourselves, making ourselves proud and fulfilled!
Being sportingly musical as a beatboxer is the dream job that I’m living, I can’t be happier for that and I owe that to you!
That’s why I am creating a COMPLETE beatbox course and YOU can be my beta testers!
This course is entitled “Level Up Your Beatbox” and is still in a very early beta version.
Let me talk about it: “Level Up Your Beatbox” has a goal to help you in the practice of beatbox, whatever your end goal may be (professional or hobbyist performer or battler…)
My goal is to support you in your practice, from the material development (sounds & timing mastery, finding your own style…) to getting your tracks finished (structuring, arranging…) in a sustainable way over the long term (to become a professional performer). That’s the purpose of the course.
The course is in a very early beta version and much more content will be added to it. For now, you can benefit from Timing Workouts and a total of 180+ beatbox patterns.
What content will be added in the future:
• Developing your Sound Kit
• Rhythm in Depths
• Coming up with new material
• Structuring & arranging
• Execution
• Taking Action & Mindset
By purchasing this course (to the price of a 1 hour lesson), you will get lifetime additional content updates for free!

I’m doing this because this is the course I dreamt I had when I was a younger and less experienced in beatbox.
Let me know if there’s anything else you would like to learn!
Thanks for your support 💙

Try this when you feel uninspired
If I tell you:
“Compose a beatbox track from scratch, do whatever you want, go”
You feel lost
You don’t know where to start
Even if you come up with something, you won’t be sure that’s it’s great
Then, if I tell you
“Compose a house beatbox track, in the following structure (Intro - Buildup - Drop - Bridge Drop 2). Use 3 different bass sounds in the whole track. Breakdown the 2nd drop in a trap beat and use a 32th note triplet roll in it”
Now we can talk!
You have a starting point
Composing your track becomes an inspiring, fun and interesting challenge!
Creating with constraints helps coming-up with new ideas!
In that condition it may be hard, depending on your current level, but you can create your own rules!
For example, you can simplify the structure, you can make the 32th note triplet roll a 16th note one! It’s up to you!
Composing also requires material.
💡 To come up with a final beatbox track, the creative process can be divided into two axes
Developing your material (sounds, patterns, fillers, melodies…)
Composing and arranging (sum-up the ideas, compose each part of the track, arrange the different parts to make a final piece)
And then of course you need to rehearse your track so you can perform it live. The creative process can also get updates.
For example you found new material over the months and you want to update your track so it stays fresh.
My goal, as a beatbox mentor is to help you develop your material, and help you compose beatbox tracks!
So, if you’re interested in leveling up your beatbox to reach your goals, to create new tracks, I’m starting out the new course “Level Up Your Beatbox (Beta)”

Level Up Your Beatbox

I'm currently performing a 5 hours beatbox a day challenge for a week. I'll let you know about how it goes.
The goal is to get better in specific techniques (texture, power and speed). It is also a great way to push myself recording beatbox solo tracks, that I plan on releasing in the Next weeks/months.
I hope my challenge helps you motivate you working on your beatbox ⚡
Grateful 🙏
