A Little

👉 "A little" means some; not a lot, but some amount. "A little" is used with uncountable nouns.
شما می توانید a little را به معنی مقدار کم ولی کافی استفاده کنید. a little همراه با اسم های غیر قابل شمارش استفاده می شود.

✅ That plant needs a little water.
گیاه به مقداری آب نیاز دارد.

✅ We have a little milk left in the refrigerator.
مقدار کمی شیر در یخچال باقی مانده است.

✅ There is a little sunshine peeking through the clouds.
کمی نور از بین ابر ها می وزد.

✅ The recipe calls for a little sugar.
دستورالعمل پخت مقدار کمی شکر می خواهد.

♦️ A Few

👉 "A few" means some; not a lot, but some amount. "A few" is used with countable nouns.
شما می توانید a few را به معنی تعدادی کم ولی کافی استفاده کنید. A few همراه با اسم های قابل شمارش استفاده می شود.

✅ I checked out a few books from the library.
چندتا کتاب را در کتابخانه چک کردم.

✅ There are a few empty tables left in the dining hall.
چندتا میز خالی در سالون غذا خوری وجود دارد.

✅ There are a few politicians I still trust.
هنوز تعداد کمی سیاستمدار هستند که به آنها هنوز اعتماد دارم.


نکته: few و little به معنی تعداد و مقدار کمی است که کافی نباشد. در حالیکه a few و a little به معنی تعداد و مقدار کمی است که برای نیاز ما کافی باشد
