Dear Friends!

We gotta ask you a favour.

You know that MOSG has been seeking positive changes in local orthodontic education and establishing clear evidence-based standards of treatment in Russia.

As a result, we decided to form an organisation that would be functioning according to the international orthodontic standards. We recently contacted the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) and asked their help in this project. They agreed to be a partner in this seemly thorny but necessary endeavour.

We are currently applying for the affiliation with the WFO. The name of our newborn organisation is simply The Association of Specialists in Orthodontics. It is going to be functioning both as an association, and as an orthodontic board. A requirement for the application is to have at least 20 members.

So, we offer you to become these first 20. No fees required. Benefits: free and discounted events from us and the WFO. To become a member simply leave your name in Latin and your e-mail in the comments.

P.S. The next free event will be a MARPE meeting with Drs. Sylvain Chamberland and Robert Kazmierski.

Future members will be the first to learn the details…
Looking forward to see you tomorrow!

Have a great start of the week @everyone! We highly recommend you to read this article on TMJ by Chuck Greene. We think it summarizes our last meeting nicely.
We are often asked questions on how to find credible sources of evidence-based information. Today’s blog post by Kevin O’Brien provides a good answer: https://kevinobrienorthoblog.com/how-to-get-through-the-mire-of-orthodontic-publications/?fbclid=IwY2xjawFgASJleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHbXZ1E_fDImPAzbeBBPb99U4xnZ5PtE2bJWC6GoHOeMlH8beTPWF8rirSw_aem_Nlc275SofvVT2srtAQgeRg
