Imp. points(general) I've noted down with regards to MEG 1 assessments and exams-
1) Answer for 10 marks - two sides of an A4 sheet should suffice. Double it for 20 marks.
2) Refer to the text.
3) Advisable to quote directly from the text(poem).
4) You cannot tamper even with a punctuation mark when you quote someone.
5) Select quotes from the poem that you like and are able to memorise.
6) Place your knowledge in context. Understand what/where to quote.
7) Don't use direct quotes if you can't remember them.
8) Be conversant with your text.. read thoroughly.
9) Read 4-5 articles for each poem by various academic and research scholars to get different perspectives. Lot of content on the internet.
10) Don't follow crowd .. make your answers tailor made.. just like ur clothes.. gather knowledge..make your answers attractive and unique.
11) Only write relevant content coz assignments are evaluated thoroughly by the examiners.
12) Last but not the least.. let your examiner know that you know the answer. 😊
