"Se­sungguhnya telah datang dari Allah kepada kalian sebuah cahaya (Nur) dan kitab yang jelas"

Anas ibn Malik r.a, described how, when the Prophet SAW first entered Madina, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱, and when he died and was buried in Sayyidatina ‘Aishah’s house, the light disappeared.

His aura, his charisma. We can only imagine, and even that, we know it surpasses our imagination. MasyaAllah.

Prophet SAW, had to endure great trials and tribulations from Allah. The people of Quraysh have even spat at the prophet when he was returning home from the mosque after performing his prayers, but the prophet (PBUH) never responded to the act.

𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆. The act of forgiving must be practiced. No human is free from making mistakes thus there shouldn’t be any reason to shy away from asking for forgiveness. And we should never feel that forgiving someone is a burden for forgiveness is deemed a truly noble act in the eyes of Allah.

Rasulullah SAW menggambarkan keutamaan sifat pemaaf dalam Hadithnya yang bererti:


"Ada tiga hal yang barangsiapa terdapat padanya tiga hal itu, maka dia akan dilindungi oleh Allah, dan Allah akan merahmatinya dan akan memasukkan ke surga-Nya, yaitu:

(1) bila dia diberi, dia bersyukur,

(2) bila dia mampu melakukan pembalasan, dia memberi maaf, dan (3) bila ia marah, surut amarahnya."

There is no doubt that one of the key features of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was his incredible ability to pardon and forgive even his biggest enemies.

Allah describes the Prophet in the Quran as a “Mercy to all of Creation” (Quran 21:107); a clear testimony to his merciful nature.
