My 7ltr #crockpot #slowcooker #flavourmaker had the #spaghettibolognese #sauce simmering for a day and a half (see older Post), which has now been turned into 2 + 1 small #gf #lasagne for myself (store bought packet sheets though) and #fresh #homemade #pasta #dough for the two main ones, topped with #bechamel sauce

Inside the layers, #tastycheese #bocconcinicheese and #rocket

These are now going into the freezer for next week as I've got family visiting over Easter 😍

Got #dinner (and enough to freeze for another meal) organised early this morning.

Have I mentioned how much I love my @brevilleaus #flavourmaker #slowcooker #crockpot 😍 the fact I can get and cook on the stovetop first, then just lift the pot back into the heated base is the best.

#spaghettibol #bolognesesauce with #celery #onions #garlic #herbs #carrots #eggplant #zucchini #beefmince (found some frozen crushed tomatoes in the freezer), and lastly, added a bottle of #passata, then poured #redwine into the empty bottle, shook and added also to the dish along with freshly picked #bayleaves . Once the #tomatoes have melted, will add cracked #salt and #pepper and give it a good mix.

My kitchen is clean and I'm now for that second cup of #coffee 😁☕

My oven stopped heating last night during dinner prep and we had to improvise and cook everything on the BBQ.

So I managed to get this #beefstew in the #crockpot after dropping the boys at school (in the #slowcooker by 9.30am).

Meanwhile, thinking I'd need to call a repair guy today, the oven miraculously started working again 🤔😳👍🏼

#oven has died again. Last night I baked a cake around 9pm, turned it off and my daughter woke up at 4am to find it still on. The elements were on high, fans off and only way to turn it off was to pull it out from the wall and switch off the main power source 😳 hubby and I woke up and found it like this in the morning and it was still warm. (Very lucky it didn't start a fire). This exact thing happened not too long ago and we had electronics replaced etc.

She's been a busy #appliance and worked hard over the last 17 years, but our @smegaustralia oven can only take so many repairs. So it looks like I'm back to #BBQ meals and the #crockpot until we workout what to replace her with.

With my @smegaustralia #oven out of order, I've had to improvise.

Thankfully the gas #cooktop still works, so I've made #mexicanbeef for #nachos #tonight - which is now simmering away in my orange #crockpot , the #cornchips I can heat up in my @delonghi_au #multifry 👍🏼

In the @brevilleaus #flavourmaker I've made up 4kg of #spagbolsauce to either have tomorrow night or put in the freezer for another meal or two. I just hope the power doesn't go out now, or in stuffed 😳

(I probably won't have an oven for at least 2 weeks and need to wait till the weekend to go looking at a replacement).
