Hola from Mexico! It is an honour to visit this historic city to call on President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. We work well together, and I am looking forward to keep our ties moving forward.

It was a public holiday in Mexico so I visited Teotihuacan, the site of an ancient city. It dates back to 100 BC to 650 AD & was one of the biggest cities in the world before it mysteriously collapsed.

Mexico marks Revolution Day on the 3rd Mon of Nov. This day commemorates the start of the Mexican Revolution in 1910. Visited some cultural sites & also saw many out enjoying their national holiday.

Had very good meetings with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador & his team at the Palacio Nacional. Happy to explore new ways to improve our bilateral relationship.

From Mexico to Seoul — Annyeonghaseyo! Look forward to meetings with President Moon Jae-in, the ASEAN-ROK Summit, and some good, brisk weather!

Held positive discussions with South Korean President Moon Jae-in. We agreed to broaden our bilateral cooperation to include areas such as smart cities, medical and biotechnology, smart grids, intellectual property, and cybersecurity.

Was lucky to spot this glorious burst of colour at Gyeongui Line Forest Park, as the autumn foliage in many areas in Seoul had already fallen.

While in Seoul having meetings with President Moon Jae-in, I also got to explore parts of the city that I have never been to before.

Went jalan jalan at Gardens by the Bay’s annual Christmas Wonderland display. They have organised this for many years, and I’m glad to see its enduring popularity continue!

Marina Bay is usually aglow with lights, but it is especially luminous during the Christmas season. A peaceful and joyous Christmas to one and all! 🎄

Like many, I ventured out to Gardens by the Bay to watch the spectacular annular solar eclipse today. The skies were a little cloudy, but fortunately at the critical moment the sun (and moon) peeped through!
