This year’s May Day Rally comes amidst much turmoil and uncertainty – a series of tariffs imposed by the US has disrupted international trade and the global economy. No one knows for sure the medium to long-term impact on businesses, workers, and the economy, but everyone is very worried.

Nonetheless, I have faith that the NTUC and our tripartite partners will be able to help us weather the coming storm, and we will emerge stronger from it.

Last night we resumed our MPS in Teck Ghee, after a three-week hiatus because of GE2025. Many residents came forward with their issues and concerns. Regardless of how you voted, we will do our best to find solutions and help all residents.
