This can apply to every area of life.
Eg; The what could be; "He walked out on me"
But the why could sincerely be "He walked out because he felt ashamed/Intimidated, and needed a safe space".
The What: He cursed me out, unprovoked.
The Why : He was hungry and already having a bad day. He needed to vent.
The what: She gave me cash.
The Why : She wanted people to think she's always this nice to me or wanted to win me over and sleep with me. 🤨

When you learn to judge the "why" behind an action, you'll learn to live better with and wiser than most people.
A quick story;
Yesterday, while I was driving pass a roundabout in Owerri, I saw this man who sells throw-pillows.
He should be in his early 40s or late 30s or more. Can't tell.
There was a slow traffic that was already pacing up and I genuinely just wanted to know their prices. They were super cute.
I called out. He looked, I asked, "How much do you sell them for?"
He didn't respond, he just followed my car to make a sale. He heard me, but wanted to make a sale with that opportunity.
I noticed he was running to catch up and waved at him to not stress himself by following as I was almost speeding up.
I just needed to know their prices.
He insisted.
When I stepped on the gas, he ran soo fast.
Super fast. I had to slow down almost in the middle of the road to tell him not to bother stressing himself out, that I just needed to know their prices so I can budget for it next time I'm driving pass that junction.
This man looked at me so annoyed and insulted the living day light out of me.
I felt bad for his attitude and wanted to know what I did wrong.
As I drove out. The thought came again. "Reason over Action"
It's possible he hasn't made a sale the whole day? #Frustration.
Possible he didn't know any better.
It's possible he didn't hear me clearly earlier.
It's possible he was already having disappointments like that.
I just smiled and wished him well in my heart.
I'll look for him again and patronise him. I'll also advise against his attitude.
Attitude is truly everything. There are people who wouldn't come back.
