I recommend .org if you must build anything solid.

- Themes and Templates: Themes control your site's appearance. Templates within themes define the layout of various pages or post types. You can build any type of website without codes. You just need to buy an already built theme or download a free one, and then rework it to your taste.

- Plugins and Widgets: In WordPress, a plugin is a small software program that adds new features or functionality to your website.

Think of plugins like apps on your smartphone — they can enhance your website's capabilities, making it more powerful, efficient, and user-friendly.

Plugins extend functionality, while widgets are blocks of content that can be added to sidebars or footer areas of the website.

- Categories and Tags: Categories organize your posts into groups eg, (post, news, step by step guides, funding, scholarships, etc). Tags (just like hashtags), offer more detailed labeling for SEO and navigation.

Installation:

Download the latest WordPress software file from WordPress(dot)org, set up a hosting account on any Hosting provider of your choice. I have my top preferences though, and follow the installation wizard.

If you're eyeing a MacBook for your coding or heavy computational tasks, here's a heads-up: avoid the MacBook Pro models from 2015 to 2018.

Why?

These models can turn into a high-stakes gamble for you. They might work, but intensive use can push them to their limits. Imagine waking up to a MacBook that decides to take a permanent nap! It's not a myth; people have seen it happen to multiple people.

The Culprit? The GPU.

MacBook GPUs are not the heavy lifters you'd want for serious work. They're like that lightweight gym buddy when you need a powerlifter. Under pressure, these GPUs will likely crumble. And when I say pressure, I mean long hours of coding, rendering, or even complex computations.

Intel vs. Apple Design:

The issue is partly because the MacBooks of these mentioned years use Intel processors, which struggle in Apple's sleek, compact designs. It's like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole - not ideal for cooling or performance.

My Advice?

Go for Windows if coding is your main gig.

If you insist on a MacBook, then opt for the newer models with Apple's own silicon.

They're designed to handle the heat (literally).

If you have a very tight Budget? Consider older, but gold models like the 2011 or 2012 MacBook Pros.

They are rumored to have stronger cooling systems and are surprisingly reliable.

But if you still want that 2016-2018 Model? Keep some cash aside for a new system because repairs might not be worth it. Or better yet, have a Windows PC as a backup.

If you choose to upgrade to 2019? Make sure it's the Core i9 version for better performance and reliability.

➡ Note Please : This advice doesn't apply if you're just using your MacBook for lighter tasks like writing, streaming, everyday browsing or other not so heavy tasks.

So, think twice before you invest in those older MacBook Pros for hardcore work. Your time and productivity are worth more than the risk of hardware failure.
