Oops, don’t judge me just yet 😂.

Back in the day, I was sure my Microbiology degree would open doors to those high-paying jobs.

I mean, if it was about reading, 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧—𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬! 📚 Books were my playground.

But three months after graduation, reality hit me—no job, no interview, nothing😞.

Every employer wanted 3-5 years of experience.

How now? How does a fresh graduate already have years of experience?!

Depressed but determined, I started learning digital skills out of frustration.

I stumbled upon YouTube tutorials and taught myself to design websites, run ads, and dive into marketing—all from the comfort of my parents’ home, using my dad’s borrowed laptop. 💻

But my obsession with that laptop had my dad thinking… “𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘠𝘢𝘩𝘰𝘰 𝘠𝘢𝘩𝘰𝘰!”

One evening, he called me into the living room for a full lecture about the dangers of cyber fraud.

He was genuinely concerned—and I don’t blame him🤷♀️.

He saw a girl glued to a laptop all day with zero results to show.

I told him, “Dad, I’m not doing Yahoo; I’m learning digital marketing.”

He gave me that skeptical “we’ll see” look 😏

Fast forward to today—he’s my biggest cheerleader. 🎉

Now, whenever I land a big client, he prays for me to get more gigs and even checks in to ask about my work.

I am proud to say that I’ve transformed my passion into a thriving career! 💼

I now help businesses and entrepreneurs create aesthetic, high converting websites, optimize their social media strategies, and leverage PPC advertising.
