We had the first DEXA Campus Tech Hubs West African Volunteers meeting today.
It was amazing to hear the brilliant thoughts that came from this team of selfless individuals.
We got to know ourselves and I went forward to sell the DEXA's DCTH vision and dream of spreading the Tech gospel to campuses across Africa, and empowering Africa's employable population as a way to encourage Tech innovations, curb unemployment and reduce cyberfraud involvement among young Africans.
I also spelt out the structures and systems upon which this project will be running.
To say I can't wait to officially launch the project ad work with this team n is an understatement.
I am super excited to be a part of these people pioneering a new phase and narrative for Africa through tech.
There're a lot of wonderful updates to come.
Just keep your fingers crossed.

DEXA has been targetted and impacted by an intense cyber attack knowns as the DDoS attack for the past couple of weeks, it became worse within the last few days.
As a community centric company, we thought to let you know why we've been inaccessible. You are part of us.
This DDoS attack, also known as Distributed Denial of Service attack is a malicious cyber attack that threatens the accessibilty & availability of our platform by overwhelming it to a crashing point,
Which is a direct threat to our existence as an Edtech, and our technical team have been working round the clock to combat it.
Of course with me leading the proceedure.
We've collaborated with our cloud hosting provider and software developers who rightly informed us of the attack after investigating unexpected service outages on the platform.
As the captain of this ship, I understand the tech business space is warfare and would be delusional to rule out the possibilities such occurrences.
Our growth has been both exponential and logistic, and Such growth exposes us as first a strong competitor and then a threat/prey.
We can't tell where it's coming from, but the IP addresses of the bots used in this distributed attack are being monitored, to atleast have a clue of who the enemy is or where it's coming from and then block it henceforth.
Because of this, we have painstakingly decided to temporarily suspend our bootcamps, trainings and courses on the platform for the next 5days, while we combat the threat and strengthen our security architecture.
This is in our best interest as a company and also in yours, as our user.
We want to always ensure that you enjoy your time learning on DEXA without having to deal with inconveniences caused by Cyber attackers.
