I had a very lovely Wednesday night, went to a sword sparring event and was hanging out with some pretty "normal," and fairly non spiritual people, then part way through the night the talk - WITHOUT any prompting from me - switched to spirituality and religion.

Mercury has been in shadow this week and is slowing down - be sure to catch Mercury and Venus in the evening sky to the west as the fabulous evening stars that they are, and get yourself organized.

I'll talk about this on Wednesday, but let's touch on it briefly here: some major themes for Capricorn season coming up will be; how to maintain the fire in your belly, how to temper that flame, which direction are you going to take it, and is this the wisest decision you could make at this time?

These are powerful seeds we're about to plant, Capricorn is about ensuring longevity and stability through the establishment of a solid foundation. Will it last for the next seven generations at least?

You're being encouraged to do the hard things first. Don't shy away from difficult or tedious tasks, embrace them because they build character, endurance and strength, things we are absolutely going to need if we are to survive the long, bitter, cold winter.

And finally, what are your longer term goals? How do the small things you do on a daily basis build up to help you meet these goals, and how do they hurt them? Are there adjustments you could make in your routine, in how you manage resources, are your actions in alignment with your values?

So that just happened. Later tonight the moon will ingress to Sag and we'll feel a trine between Moon and Jupiter- our quest for truth and our need and desire for meaning is being bolstered by a sense of bravery, driven by a strong sense of self and self-ness.
Until then, however, moon in Scorpio in a closing square to Saturn wants us to acknowledge and feel into our power by - as I said yesterday - doing the hard thing, not the easy thing.

Personally, I want to hibernate today and sink into Scorpionic depths, but responsibilities await.
