Don't mind the title, eclipse is next week, I got excited.
We did talk about the Venus sun conjuction on the 22nd in Libra, Saturn stationing direct and I touched on a couple of other aspects.

These are the dates of the Venus-Sun conjunctions, from 1990-2030. As you can see, they move backwards through the zodiac slowly, and starting this year, the Scorpio point will be in Libra.

And here, the same aspect from 1760. The first libra conjuction occurred in 1771, then there was one more in Scorpio before the rest were in Libra.

Venus is in the heart of the sun today, celebrate art, culture, friendship and love in any way that you can in honor of this special occasion, in the final degree of Libra.

Saturn stations direct as well today and will remain at this degree for a solid two weeks as he slowly, carefully, begins his measured march forward.

Something in your life is also moving forward, remember that the point of the delay was to ensure you were establishing a solid foundation. In the sign of Aquarius, the question becomes, how do you innovate and revolutionize in a way that is still grounded in reality? The astronomy described is a bit off, though; we never see Venus as 'full' like the moon because she's on the other side of the sun - in the underworld so to speak.

I'm watching with very keen interest several women that have just stepped into very important government roles in multiple countries. This is really fascinating, in that some of them could very well embody perhaps the archetype of Libra, bringing back the respect for Law and balancing out the other side?
I don't know, I'm only speculating for now (and hoping for the best). Let's see what happens.

Solar eclipse at 2:58AM in Calgary - so in other words, not visible for North America,
but will be most visible in Europe, at 8:58AM UTC.
Regardless, the first ~7 degrees of Scorpio is majorly activated, as are the other fixed signs.

I'm very torn on what kind of story to tell for this Eclipse.
Venus is still cazimi and super powerful, although now, together with the sun, has dove deep into the still, purifying waters of Scorpio.

2°Scorpio is within the bounds of Mars, meaning there's a very martian (brave, courageous, pioneering) flavour to the eclipse, and Venus is on a mission to be reborn with very important gnosis to share. This isn't generally a pretty, nice, or very gentle experience. Though very, very powerful.

Mars, the traditional guide for Scorpio, is very nearly stationed in Gemini, just about parked, ready to turn retrograde on the 30th.

This week on Thursday Jupiter retrogrades into Pisces. How incredibly, poetically perfect.

Basically, bring on the water works. Let any big emotions out in ways that will transmute them (read: Do Art.) and let prayers for compassion, healing and peace radiate forth from you.

Find ways to ground down into what's beautiful, natural and abundant.
