How to send messages anonymously with OTR (Off-The-Record) Communication via XMPP🕵

Step 1: Install Pidgin.

Step 2: If you wish to use Tor for extra anonymity visit creep.im and follow the instructions there and go to step 3. Otherwise, go to 404.city and signup there and connect it to your client.

Step 3: Go To https://otr.cypherpunks.ca/index.php#downloads and Download the installer for Pidgin OTR. Give these same instructions to the person you with to talk to

Step 4: Give the person your name on the service so you can talk and add eachother (For example my name is yourtutorialseries@creep.im, so I would give someone this so they can add me)

Step 5: Start a conversation with the person you want to and then in the top right select OTR and then start private conversation

Congrats! You are now speaking Anonymously with Off The Record away from prying eyes.
