The husband and wife were very happy. Now they would have a baby. They both wanted to have a baby.
They visited the doctor a month later. He examined the wife. He used a special machine. He saw the baby.
He saw more than one baby. He saw two babies. He saw more than two babies. He counted the babies.
He told the wife, "You will have more than one baby. You will have eight babies!" The wife couldn't believe it.
Her husband couldn't believe it. Eight babies! "We will have a big family," said the husband. "We will have a very big family," said the wife. "But how can we pay for all these babies?" asked the husband.

"We can pay for one baby. But eight babies cost a lot of money. How can we pay for eight babies?" The wife said,
"We will find a way.
God will help us find a way." They both smiled. They would have a big, happy family.

She asked, "Is it your back again?" He said, "Yes, it's my back again." He couldn't move. "Can I help?" she asked. He shook his head. All he could do was wait. A minute later, he put one foot forward. Then another foot. He slowly walked to the bathroom. He still wasn't standing up straight. He was still bent over. He went into the bathroom. Then he slowly returned to the living room. He slowly sat back down on the sofa. "I told you not to carry that suitcase up those subway stairs!" his wife yelled. "But you didn't listen to me. You never listen to me. Next time, I carry the suitcase!"

👨‍🦰Man: I keep a record of' new words I come across. Then I make up study cards. I write the word on one side of The card and the meaning on the other side. Oh, and I always include at least one sentence with the word in it. Then I go through the cards whenever I have spare time – like when I‘m waiting for my laundry to dry, or on the bus- and study the words until I know them by heart. Every week or so, I organize the cards into categories: you know, I put All the words together that have to do with food… or work… or home… or school… whatever I can find that my new words have in common.
🧑‍🦰Woman: I keep a vocabulary notebook. It‘s organized alphabetically. Whenever I hear or read a new word, I write it down. Then when I have time, I look it up in my dictionary. Then I put down some key information about the word- You know, whether it‘s a noun or the verb, and some examples of how it‘s used. I go through the notebook and study the words as often as I can. I really believe that the only way to learn new words- even in your language- is by memorizing them.

🛑 A young man asked Socrates the secret of success. Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river the next morning. They met. Socrates asked the young man to walk with him into the river. When the water got up to their neck, Socrates took the young man by surprise and swiftly ducked him into the water.

The boy struggled to get out but Socrates was strong and kept him there until the boy started turning blue. Socrates pulled the boy’s head out of the water and the first thing the young man did was to gasp and take a deep breath of air.

Socrates asked him, "what did you want the most when you were there?" The boy replied, "Air". Socrates said, "That is the secret of success! When you want success as badly as you wanted the air, then you will get it!" There is no other secret.

🛑 Everyone wants a gleaming set of pearly white teeth. The perfect Hollywood smile has created a multi-billion-dollar global industry. However, not all is shiny and bright behind this business. A report from the BBC states that illegal teeth whitening is putting people at risk of serious health problems. These include burnt gums and lips, blisters and lost teeth. The UK's General Dental Council reported a 26 per cent increase in complaints last year from people who had suffered problems after teeth whitening. In many cases, those performing the teeth whitening were untrained and unqualified.
🛑 The UK's teeth-whitening industry is regulated. Only professionals who have registered with the General Dental Council can do it. The BBC went undercover and unearthed "thousands" of ill-qualified teeth-whitening practitioners. Two researchers paid nearly $400 each to attend a five-hour teeth-whitening course at a London beauty college. The researchers received a certificate and were told they could earn $100 an hour to treat customers. Anyone attending these courses and setting up their own businesses are doing so illegally. They could end up with a criminal record.
