Albrecht, the owner of the Malkiel machine-building plants and some other buildings. Secondly, the palace itself does not quite fit into the overall urban picture - it was built in the style of a French chateau, this was the wish of the Grand Duke Alexei Alexandrovich himself, and Mesmacher brought it to life.
