Founded in 1848, today
the Passage trading house on Nevsky Prospekt is one of
the sights of St. Petersburg. And not only from a historical and cultural point of view.

Palatine Hill
The Roman Forum and Palatine Hill are ancient archaeological sites located in Rome, Italy. The Roman Forum was once the center of political and social activity in Rome, where public speeches and celebrations took place. Today, visitors can see the ruins of temples, basilicas and government buildings, as well as get acquainted with the history of Ancient
Rome.

Revolution Square
Previously , a river flowed through the territory of the modern Revolution Square
Neglinnaya, and there were mills and flour shops nearby. Later, the Kitaygorodskaya wall appeared here, a bridge was thrown from the gate of which, commercial buildings grew nearby. The square itself was formed only at the beginning of the nineteenth century, after the Neglinnaya was removed into a special pipe.
Closer to the beginning of the twentieth century, the merchant Karzinkin's house was built in the north of the square, where a Large Moscow hotel and a tavern of the same name were later built.

Museum-Monument "St. Isaac's Cathedral"
Saint Isaac of Dalmatia was considered the patron saint of Peter the Great, since the future first Russian emperor was born on May 30, the day of this saint. On his 38th birthday, in 1710, Peter ordered the construction of a wooden church of St. Isaac in St. Petersburg, in which he married Catherine I two years later. And five years later, the builders began to erect a stone church on this site. The emperor issued a decree that all Baltic sailors take the oath only in this temple. The church was built for about 30 years, but the swampy soil swallowed the efforts of the architects, and the building soon had to be dismantled.

The Spanish Steps is a beautiful historical landmark located in the heart of Rome, Italy. It consists of 135 steps leading to the Trinity Church of Monti, and is considered one of the most famous and picturesque places in
the city.
The stairs were built in the 18th century with the financial support of the French diplomat Etienne Geffier. They were designed by an Italian architect
Francesco de Sanctis and had to connect the embassy
Spain with the Trinita dei Monti Church.
