The Management Board of International Balkan University held a meeting with academic and administrative staff on Wednesday, 23rd February 2022. The President of the Management Board, Mr. Recep Süleyman Özdil addressed the staff with a speech and shared the vision and the goals of the Management Board for the further development of International Balkan University.
The new Management Board of International Balkan University held its first meeting on Thursday, 24th of February 2022 at the IBU Campus. The Board adopted several important decisions in line with the strategy and vision for further development of IBU, with the main focus on investments in new campus facilities, increasing of the quality of education, internationalization of the university, sustainability of university resources and human capital, etc.

An informative meeting for all students interested in pursuing a freelance accounting career was held in the IBU premises on Wednesday (23.02.2022).
Attendees had the chance to learn more about the training program "Become Freelance Digital Accountant" organized by the KUDO Education Platform for the first time in North Macedonia. Through a lottery system, some of the luckiest participants were awarded free participation in the upcoming training that will start on 28.02.2022.
The main objective of this program is to equip the young generation who are interested to pursue their career in accounting, with the skills to compete in global markets in accounting jobs as freelancers.
The training was delivered by Melita Ymeraga, Founder/CEO of Melita & Partners LLC, a Certified Digital Transformation Expert and the only Advisor in the region certified by INTUIT, USA for all QuickBooks® UK and US Edition products.
Interested parties can visit the KUDO Education Platform and use the FREE QuickBooks User Certification Voucher for the upcoming training.

International Balkan University (IBU) and Wolaita Sodo University from Ethiopia signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday, 3rd March 2022. During the online signing ceremony, delegations from both universities shared their satisfaction with this agreement and exchanged ideas on concrete steps toward the implementation of the goals of the MoU. In this regard, both parties agreed to initiate staff and students exchange in the coming period.
IBU continues to contribute to the internationalization of the higher education system of the Republic of North Macedonia, this time towards countries from the African continent, with the intention of providing its students and staff a truly international experience.
