International Balkan University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Universidad de Oriente from El Salvador. During the Online Signing Ceremony held on 25th January 2022, Rector of IBU, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dursun Erdem and Rector of Universidad de Oriente, Prof. Dr. Pedro Arieta Vega shared their expectations from the established cooperation and conveyed their wishes for the successful implementation of the MoU, particularly in the area of student and staff exchange and joint academic and scientific projects.

Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani attended the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between International Balkan University and Jinnah University for Women, Karachi, Pakistan, and Research Trainings Solutions, Karachi, Pakistan on 20th of January, 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey.
At the same time, Asst. Prof. Dr. Seyhan Murtezan Ibrahimi delivered a Guest of Honor speech and Asst. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani delievered a Keynote speech at the 3rd International Conference on Business & Technological Trends, which is held on 19-20 January 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey.

MR. RECEP SÜLEYMAN ÖZDIL ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THECFOUNDATION FOR EDUCATION AND CULTURE "ÜSKÜP" AND PRESIDENT OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF INTERNATIONAL BALKAN UNIVERSITY
The Annual Meeting of the Assembly of the Foundation for Education and Culture "ÜSKÜP", founder and owner of International Balkan University, was held on 29th January 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Annual Meeting was honoured with the participation and address of the President of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şentop, honorary member of the Foundation "ÜSKÜP".
The Assembly adopted the activity reports for the year 2021 and adopted the budget and activity plan for the year 2022.
Mr. Recep Süleyman Özdil was elected in the position of the President of the Assembly and President of the Management Board of the Foundation. The Management Board of the Foundation conducts at the same time the duty of the Management Board of International Balkan University.

Tens of boxes with winter clothes, shoes and blankets donated by students and staff of International Balkan University were delivered to Red Cross Skopje and NGO "Legis". They will distribute the donated clothes to people in need during these winter times.
IBU will continue to be active in public life with its social responsibility projects and make a positive impact in the society.
