Rector of IBU, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dursun Erdem met with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Ankara, H.E. Mr. Hazar Ibrahim on Monday, 25th January 2021. Rector Erdem informed the Ambassador on the ongoing academic activities at IBU, with the main focus on the internationalization of the higher education of North Macedonia. Both parties discussed on the idea of organizing a scientific symposium under the auspices of International Balkan University in Azerbaijan this year. Moreover, Rector Erdem expressed his readiness to establish closer cooperation with prominent universities in Azerbaijan. 🇲🇰🇦🇿🇹🇷
Rector of IBU, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dursun Erdem met with the President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), Mr. Abdullah Eren on Monday, 25th January 2021. Rector Erdem shared information on the ongoing educational process at IBU and the achievements of the university in the field of higher education and scientific research. They shared the satisfaction of the successful cooperation between IBU and YTB through the years and agreed to broaden it with new joint projects and activities in the future. Both parties especially emphasized the importance of the project "Türkiye Scholarships" and its worlwide relevance nowadays.

Rector of International Balkan University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dursun Erdem met with the Rector of the University of Health Sciences (Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi - SBÜ), Prof. Dr. Cevdet Erdöl, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at this university, Prof.Dr. Mehmet Ali Gülçelik on Thursday, 28th January 2021.
During the meeting, rectors shared information on the ongoing educational process at both universities, the challenges caused by the pandemic, and the vision for the further development of the respective universities.
Based on the protocol for cooperation signed between the two universities, Rector Erdöl expressed the commitment of the SBÜ to provide all necessary support to IBU in terms of staff and student exchange, joint projects and activities in areas of mutual interest.

Rector of IBU, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dursun Erdem met the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Sali Murati, who is attending an official visit in the Republic of Turkey. During the meeting, Rector Erdem informed President Murati on the recent developments at International Balkan University and the successful ongoing academic process. President Murati emphasized the importance of IBU as a foundation higher education institution and its role as a bridge of cooperation between North Macedonia and Turkey in the field of education and science.
CALL FOR RESEARCH PAPERS IN THE TEFMJ
The Trends in Economics, Finance, and Management Journal welcomes the submission of scientific articles for TEFMJ Vol. 3 Issue 1 to be published on the 30th of June 2021.
The TEFM Journal invites the submission of papers on original, substantial, and unpublished research in all aspects of basic and applied research. TEFMJ submissions must describe unpublished work.
Submissions will be judged on clarity, originality, replicability, correctness, meaningful comparisons, and contributions to research resources. Each submission will undergo a peer-review process in which two reviewers will evaluate the research. Final versions should take into account the reviewers' comments.
Important Dates
Deadline for paper submission – 25th of May 2021
Peer review Report sent to the authors – 10th of June 2021
Final paper submission by authors – 20th June 2021
