Screening of the documentary "Dying for Europe" as part of the Global Migration Film Festival (GMFF) on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day took place at IBU
On the occasion of the 2021 Global Migration Film Festival, IBU in cooperation with IOM, UN Migration Agency in North Macedonia, organized a film screening and panel discussion on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day.
Founded by the IOM in 2016, the Global Migration Film Festival is the world’s only film competition to take place on six continents at once, with more than 700 screenings worldwide. Тhe Global Migration Film Festival features films and documentaries that capture the promise and challenges of migration, and the unique contributions that migrants make to their new communities.
Description of the documentary:
The largest migratory flow recorded in history since World War II is revealed through fragments of personal stories. The heartrending trilogy focuses on the strength and hope of those who dare to dream a better life in Europe and are willing to even give their lives for a ‘new’ life.

➡️On December 🔟th the students from the Faculty of Education attended a webinar on the latest trends in hybrid learning. Ms. Marija Petreska, an ESL teacher and a Microsoft and an Apple certified educator, introduced several useful digital tools that can be used to enhance student' motivation and interaction during online classes. She also presented ways of tracking and increasing students' class participation.
