FINAL ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE EDUCATIONAL MODEL FOR FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD CYCLE STUDIES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2021/2022 AND COVID-19 PANDEMIC MEASURES
Based on:
- the results of the questionnaire conducted in the period 14-20 September 2021 which showed that more than 70% of the students and staff have been vaccinated from the pandemic of COVID-19;
- the successful action for vaccination of students and staff conducted at the premises of the university on 29 and 30 September 2021;
- the communication and coordination with the state authorities in charge of managing the pandemic and their evaluation of the current situation,
the Rectorate of International Balkan University has decided on the following:
- educational model for first, second and third cycle studies for the academic year 2021/2022 will be combined with physical presence and online;
- domestic students will attend the educational process with physical presence without the obligation for vaccination or PCR tests;
- foreign students will attend the educational process with physical presence or online through our Online Learning Platform.
Mandatory measures for students attending the educational process with physical presence:
- wearing a face mask all the time in the classrooms and all closed premises at the campus;
- measuring the temperature at the entrance of all buildings in the campus;
- disinfection with sanitizers at the entrance of all buildings and all other points of disinfection;
- social distance (1.5 - 2m) in all classrooms and other premises at the campus.
In order to increase the level of safety of everyone's health at the campus, we encourage all students to complete the vaccination in the coming period.
We wish all students and staff a successful academic year 2021/2022!

SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM AND ART COLONY ORGANIZED BY IBU FACULTY OF ART AND DESIGN AND NATIONAL PARK 'MAVROVO'
The Faculty of Art and Design of International Balkan University organized a scientific symposium and Art Colony entitled GIRIH2021 in the period 30 September to October 2021. The event is taking place at the mountain of Mavrovo, with the cooperation and support of the National Park 'Mavrovo'. Artists from six countries from the Balkan region and Turkey are participating in this event. Participants are eminent at various art academies.

THREE-DAY HYBRID EVENT AT IBU | “THE NEW ERASMUS+ ERA: MORE DIGITAL, MORE INCLUSIVE, GREENER”
A three-day hybrid event entitled “The new Erasmus+ Era: more digital, more inclusive, greener” organized by International Relations Office will take place at International Balkan University on 14-16 October 2021, under the #ErasmusDays event series happening all over Europe.
This year, the 5th edition of the #ErasmusDays will be focused on the objectives of the new Erasmus+ 2021-2027 program. Priority will be given to the themes of inclusion, environmental protection, digital transformation, and participation in democratic life. The #ErasmusDays 2021 will also be an opportunity to discuss the new possibilities of European hybrid mobility.
#ErasmusDays at IBU will include panel discussions, success stories from students/staff who has experienced Erasmus+ mobility, presentation of the work of the International Relations Office, Erasmus+ InfoDay for Incoming Students, cultural and sports activities, etc.
