➡️On Monday, 1️⃣3️⃣th of December 2021, the 3rd year students from the Department of “Banking and Finance” at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences had a clinical lecturer in the face of the representative of National Bank🏦 of the Republic of North Macedonia. Presentation was performed by Mrs. Frosina Celeska, Advisor of the Banking Regulation and Banks Resolution Department at the National Bank. Thanks to the presented material, the students👩🏼‍🎓 had the opportunity to get acquainted with the evolution of the process of the capital and risk management of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. Particular attention was paid to the evolution of the Basel Capital Accords (Basel I, Basel II and Basel III), their advantages and disadvantages, as well as their implementation in the banking system of the Republic of North Macedonia.☑️

International Balkan University was honoured with the presence of the President of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şentop and the Minister of Health of the Republic of North Macedonia, Dr. Venko Filipce at the Opening Ceremony of the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Vocational Medical School that took place on 21st December 2021.

A webinar on teaching within 3D Virtual Worlds was held on 17th December. The presenter, assoc. prof. Tuncer Can from the ELT department at the Hasan Ali Yucel Faculty of Education, Istanbul University - Cerrahpasa, acquainted our students with the latest innovations in Virtual worlds (Avatars, Second life, 3D Machinima and Animations), and how they can be implemented both in English classes in order to enhance students' language skills and in other school subjects and university courses. He also presented the research findings on virtual worlds from the EU projects CAMELOT and GUINEVERE. The ELT department would like to thank prof. Can for sharing his experience and we hope that this will be the beginning of long-lasting cooperation between the two universities.
