Connecting the Two Cultures Through Visual Art
“Connecting the two cultures through visual art” is a group exhibition of the sculptor Prof. Slobodan Miloseski and graphic designer Prof. Laze Tripkov.
In the Gallery Preporod in Sarajevo, the local audience was able to see the exhibition which comprises works of sculptures, paintings, posters and graphic design, that have been created in the last two years by the two prominent and innovative artists in the area of the Balkan Peninsula.
The curator/organizer of the exhibition is the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design Prof. Dr. Dzemil Bektovic, the Gallery "Preporod" and the International Balkan University. The exhibition was supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony between Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) from Malaysia and International Balkan University
Representatives from the Rectorate of International Balkan University attended a virtual signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) from Malaysia and International Balkan University on Monday, 15th November 2021. The IBU Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dursun Erdem and the UiTM President, Emeritus Prof. Dato’ Dr. Hassan Said, gave their welcoming speeches and ideas before officially signing the MoU on behalf of their institutions.
The event also included a brief of the MoU outline, with constructive remarks from both institutions’ representatives, opinions on areas of cooperation such as research, joint event organization and student and staff exchange, as well as multimedia presentation of UiTM and IBU in a livestream session on Facebook.
We expect that this MoU will serve as the base for establishing a close partnership for the benefit of both institutions by promoting academic and cultural exchanges, organization of joint conferences, symposia and other events, as well as cooperation in the areas of teaching and research.

The Call is open for all Computer Engineering students, but priority falls upon those who now are 4th grade.
The Workshop will begin on 1st December 2021 and will last until the end of the month.

The Rector of International Balkan University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dursun Erdem met with the President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Mr. Serkan Kayalar in Ankara, Republic of Turkey, on Monday, 29th November 2021.
During the meeting, both parties concluded the excellent cooperation between IBU and TIKA in the past period in various projects oriented towards improving the quality and standard of education. Rector Erdem and President Kayalar agreed to extend the cooperation between the two institutions in new projects and activities in the near future.

ERASMUS+ KA131 PROJECT FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2021/2022 APPROVED ✅️
The National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility of the Republic of North Macedonia approved the International Balkan University’s Erasmus+ KA131 Project Application.
With this project, IBU students and staff will be able to participate in mobilities within EU member and candidate countries for the academic year 2021-2022.

- 17 Student Mobilities for Traineeships
- 8 Staff Mobilities for Teaching
- 6 Staff Mobilities for Training
