This is a scientific paper by a group of Western psychologists J. J. Hall, Timothy J. Brunel, and Anna T. Prescott from the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, Dartmouth College. and James D. Sargent of the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, Dartmouth Medical School.

It is considered the first of its kind to study the impact of sexual content in video games on children's sexual behaviors (and it is a compilation of previous studies that were not as extensive as this study).

They mentioned things, the most important of which is that the sexual content in games makes children accept the concept of rape.

The people whose place of prohibitions in sexual issues is different from ours, as they are satisfied with consensual sexual relations and (safe) relations between adolescents, and by safe they mean those in which pregnancy is avoided by modern means.

If, in this situation, they are researching the negative effects of these games, what can we do about our children and youth?

Especially with the concept of delaying the age of marriage, and there are many of these inputs that sneak in secretly through (entertainment), and they may be the beginning of the trap of pornography or a lustful rampage, which should be treated with decisiveness and turning to the purifiers of hearts in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

There is no doubt that this situation is an offshoot of what the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, mentioned about the situation of the people of faith at the end of time, that those who adhere to their religion are like those who hold on to hot coals.

However, the consolation is that the reward is multiplied by patience, and that the best way to achieve what is permissible is patience with what is forbidden.

If a person kills his horse once, twice, or even ten times, he does not despair of God’s mercy, and continues with the matter until he succeeds and is happy.

‎صَبْرٌ

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim said: The Arabic word Sabr means restriction and detention.

In Islām; it means to prevent one’s soul from the reaching the point of despair and panic…"

Abū Muḥammad al-Ḥarīrī, said: “(True) sabr means that there is no difference in your behaviour in times of ease and times of hardship, and to be content at all times.”

Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: “To complain to people (about your suffering) by speech or behaviour.

This is contradictory to patience.”

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: “Complaining to Allaah does not go against patience.

Allaah, the Most High, listens to His servant’s complaints.”

Sulayman Ibn al-Qasim said: "The reward for every good deed can be known except the reward for patience."

Ibn Umar reported: The Prophet ‎ﷺ said:

“There are no days greater and more beloved to Allah than these ten days of Dhul Hijjah, so increase in them your declaration of the oneness of Allah, your exaltation of Him, and your praise of Him.”

عن ابن عمر عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "ما من أيام أعظم عند الله ولا أحب إليه من العمل فيهن من هذه الأيام العشر؛ فأكثروا فيهن من التهليل والتكبير والتحميد".

‏حفّظتني أمي القرآن وأنا ابن عشر سنين، وكانت توقظُني قبل صلاة الفجر وتُحمي لي ماء الوضوء في ليالي بغداد الباردة!
‏وتُلبسني ملابسي، ثم تتخمرُ وتَتغطَّى بحجابها، وتذهب معي إلى المسجد؛ لبُعدِ بيتِنا عن المَسجد ولظُلمةِ الطَّريق!".

Qataḍāh: Allaah created Angels with reason and no desire, animals with desire and no reason, and humans with both reason and desire.

If his reason is stronger than his desire, he is like an Angel, on the other hand, if his desires are stronger, he is like an animal.

Begin 'Eīd With Lowering The Gaze

Some of the companions of Sufyān ath-Thawrī said: "We went out with ath-Thawrī on the day of 'Eīd and he said: 'Verily, the first thing we will begin our day with is lowering the gaze."

Ḥasān Ibn Abī Sinān went out for the 'Eīd and when he returned his wife said to him:

"How many beautiful women did you see today?"

And when she persisted he replied: "I did not look at anything except my thumb from the time I went out until I returned to you!
