They don't care for your health. They care for their profit.

The worst thing is when the entire family is corrupted.

Then, there is no one to advise them.

According to the Gregorian calendar of kuffar, another year is over, meaning:

Another year has passed, in which the innocent captured brothers & sisters have not been freed.

Another year has passed in which the followers of Shayṭān spread their Kufriyyāt all over the world.

Another year has passed in which the Mushrikūn were able to humiliate the followers of Islam.

Time is ticking, death is getting closer and closer, and we have only this one life here on this Dunyā before we will finally remain in either Jahannam or Jannah. Every day counts, and every day could be our last.

And while we constantly remember all these realities and are laughing out loud again fifteen minutes later, there were men like Abū ʿUbaydah Al-Khawwāṣ رحمه الله.

◆ Abū ʿUbayd Al-ʿAsqalānī رحمه الله said:

«I did not see Abū ʿUbaydah As-Sāḥilī (Al-Khawwāṣ) laugh for forty years. It was said to him: “Why don’t you laugh?” He said:

كيف أضحك أنا وفي أيدي المشركين من المسلمين أحد.

“How can I laugh when one of the Muslims is in the hands of the Mushrikūn?”»

The next time your nafs and ghaflah come upon you, remember these words, for our brothers and sisters are out there waiting to be liberated. And I'm ashamed to add "from us" because they may have long since given up hope in us.

May Allah forgive us.

... وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

«Our Lord! Forgive our sins and excesses, make our steps firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people.»

(Āl ʿImrān 3:147)

Die Upon the Fitrah

اَللّٰهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، وَأَلْجَاْتُ ظَهْرِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ ، لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِيْ أَنْزَلْتَ وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِيْ أَرْسَلْتَ.

Allāhumma aslamtu nafsī ilayk, wa fawwaḍtu amrī ilayk, wa wajjahtu wajhī ilayk, wa alja’tu ẓahrī ilayk, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilayk, lā malja’a wa lā manjā minka illā ilayk, āmantu bi kitābika-l-ladhī anzalt, wa bi Nabiyyika-lladhī arsalt.

O Allah, I submit my soul unto You, and I entrust my affair unto You, and I turn my face towards You, and I totally rely on You, in hope and fear of You. Verily there is no refuge or safe haven from You except with You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Before you go to bed, perform wudhū as you would for prayer, then lie down on your right side and say [the above]. Whoever says this and dies in his sleep, will die upon the ‘fitrah’ (natural monotheism).” (Bukhārī 6313)

In another narration the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Let the aforesaid words be your last utterance (before sleep).” (Bukhārī 247)

The western double standard.

You can do anything you want (unless you wanna be a Muslim).

They want "Muslims" without Islām.

Everyone who lives in the West has first-hand experience from this.

The "Muslims" who film TikTok videos with naked women are praised and seen as progressive, and they are friends with them.

The Muslims who use TikTok to upload Qur'an recitations are looked down upon.

We do not need your support. As long as we have Islām we do not need anything else. As long as we have Allāh سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ on our side we do not care about the support from a Kafir.

I recall what one of our Shayukh said a few weeks ago.

The deviant groups always focus on one thing and leave the rest of the topics of the religion. And they might even be wrong about it.

The Ash'aris only focus on talking against the "Wahabbis", and the other half of the day they hold lectures why mawlid is good.

The Takfiris only focus on takfiring the rulers, they don't talk about anything else. All day "this ruler is a kafir" "he's taghut". Or sometimes the even more extreme from them, who could even be considered Khawarij, takfir you if you disagree them on a matter of difference of opinion.

The Madkhalis slander scholars all day, the other half of the day they call you Khariji without even knowing the meaning of this word and the danger of using it.

We as Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jamm'ah focus on all aspects, Aqeedah, Fiqh, Hadīth, and most importantly, Tafsīr of the Qur'ān.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

‎“How can he be rational who sells Paradise and what is in it, for one hour of passing pleasure?.”

The Ruling on Praying in Shoes

Wallahi, understanding the Qur'an is fascinating.

Like there were surahs that I would listen to alot while in the car or so, maybe I memorized half the ayat just by listening, and if you asked me I can translate it because I understand Arabic, but when you understand the deep meaning of an Ayah it is a different feeling.

For example what Allah ﷻ said in Suratul Fath:

هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَانًا مَّعَ إِيمَانِهِمْ

You hear it, you can translate it by your knowledge.

But focus on the words "لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَانًا مَّعَ إِيمَانِهِمْ".

The apparent translation is "that they would increase in faith along with their present faith".

This seems like a simple Ayah, Allah sent down the Al Sakinah (tranquility) أَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِينَةَ to in the hearts of the believers فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟ so that their Iman may increase with the Iman they already have لِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنًۭا مَّعَ إِيمَـٰنِهِمْ ۗ.

What most don't think about while reading is the refutation to the Murji'a which this includes. They say that Iman does not increase or decrease. And Imam Malik رَحِمَهُ الله used this Ayah as evidence to refute the Murji'a.

This is something most people would never think about while reading or hearing the Ayah, and this shows us the importance of understanding the Qur'an and thinking about every single Ayah.

Let me conclude with Allah's saying:

وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـٰتُهُۥ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَـٰنًۭا

And if the verses of Allah are recited upon them, it increases them in faith.

Allah says two verses later after mentioning more qualities of the believers:

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّۭا ۚ لَّهُمْ دَرَجَـٰتٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَمَغْفِرَةٌۭ وَرِزْقٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ
Those are the believers, truly. For them are degrees [of high position] with their Lord and forgiveness and noble provision.

May Allah grant us this and grant us the highest level of Iman, and a great understanding of the Qur'an and may He bless our scholars and make us benefit from their knowledge.

The wider the door of sin is open, the harder it is to close it.
