It is not prescribed for the people who live in a country where the eclipse is not happening to offer the prayer. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) connected the command to offer the eclipse prayer to actual sighting of the eclipse, not to news from astronomers that an eclipse was going to happen or to its happening in another country.

Istiftah (The Opening Duʿa’) #1

سُبْحَانَكَ اللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ ، وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ ، وَتَعَالَىٰ جَدُّكَ ، وَلَا إِلٰهَ غَيْرُكَ.

Subḥānaka Allāhumma wa bi-ḥamdika wa tabāraka-smuka wa taʿālā jadduka wa lā ilāha ghayruk.

How Perfect are You O Allah, and all praise is Yours. Your Name is most blessed, Your majesty is exalted and there is no god worthy of worship except You.

Abū Sa’īd al-Khudrī (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) narrated that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up to pray at night (for tahajjud prayer) he uttered the takbīr and then said [the above].

He then said: لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ (There is no god but Allah) three times.

He then said: اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا (Allah is altogether great) three times.

He then said: أَعُوْذُ بِاللّهِ السَّمِيْعِ الْعَلِيْمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ، مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ (I seek protection in Allah, the All-Hearing and All-Knowing from the rejected Shaytān; from him inciting madness, pride and reprehensible poetry.) (Abū Dāwūd 775 - Sahih)

Halloween The Festival Of Disbelievers Not Muslims

Allāh says in Qur'ān: والذين لا يشهدون الزور

“And those who do not witness falsehood..” • [al-Qur'ān 25:72]

Mujāhid and other than him from the Salaf said that falsehood (Zoor) refers to the festivals of disbelievers.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم.

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whoever imitates a nation then he is from amongst them.”

قال عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه : اجتنبوا أعداء الله في عيدهم.

‘Umar b. al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه said: “Avoid the enemies of Allāh during their festivals.” and in one narration with addition “.. for the Wrath of Allāh descends upon them during it.”

قال عبدالله بن عمرو رضي الله عنه : من مر ببلاد الاعاجم فصنع نيروزهم و مهرجانهم و تشبه بهم حتى يموت و هو كذلك حشر معهم يوم القيامة.

‘Abdullāh b. ‘Amr رضي الله عنه said: “Whoever settles in the land of the non-Arabs and celebrates their new year and festival and imitates them until he dies while he is in that state, will be gathered with them on the Day of Resurrection.”

● [أخرجه البيهقي في الكبرى]

Ibn Taymīyyāh said: “Muslims should not celebrate any festival of the disbelievers.”

Abdullāh Ibn Abbās said:

‎ إِنَّ لِلْحَسَنَةِ ضِيَاءً فِي الْوَجْهِ وَنُورًا فِي الْقَلْبِ وَسَعَةً فِي الرِّزْقِ وَقُوَّةً فِي الْبَدَنِ وَمَحَبةً فِي قُلُوبِ الْخَلْقِ
Verily, good deeds will brighten the face, enlighten the heart, expand provision, strengthen the body, and cause love in the hearts of the creation.

‎وَإِنَّ لِلسَّيِّئَةِ سَوَادًا فِي الْوَجْهِ وَظُلْمَةً فِي الْقَبْرِ وَالْقَلْبِ وَوَهْنًا فِي الْبَدَنِ وَنَقْصًا فِي الرِّزْقِ وَبُغْضَةً فِي قُلُوبِ الْخَلْقِ

Verily, evil deeds will blacken the face, darken the grave and the heart, weaken the body, restrict provision, and cause hatred in the hearts of the creation.

✅ If you’re alive today & have the ability to pray ur 5 daily prayers, pray as soon as possible. Make sincere repentance & pray and never miss it or delay. Regardless of what sins you’ve committed or are involved in the moment give it up, make tawbah, pray ur salah & you will find Allah most merciful most forgiving and He will guide you.

✅ Don’t listen to the shaytan whispers despairing you the mercy of Allah due to your sins and making you feel like a hypocrite for this is one of the tricks of the shaytan wants you to die in a state of neglecting your salah.

✅ No matter what’s sins you committed repent sincerely for the sake of Allah, pray and do obligatory duties.

✅ If you continue to neglect salah then you can’t blame no one but yourselves and the severe punishment in the grave and in the hereafter.
