Scholars differing does not mean opening the door to freely choosing one of their
opinions. The desire for something is not evidence proving its correctness, just as
medicine is not recognized because of its taste. So be selective in finding a scholar for your religion just as you are selective in finding a doctor for your body.

Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allāh and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient.

Your Sins Affect The Ummah At Large
Sins and transgressions not only cause the Muslims to become weak, but they also cause the Muslims to be overpowered by their enemies.

For Firmness of the Heart
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوْبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِيْ عَلَىٰ دِيْنِكَ
Yā Muqalliba-l-qulūbi thabbit qalbī ʿalā dīnik.
O Changer of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.
Anas (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would often say [the above]. So I asked: ‘O Messenger of Allah, we believe in you and what you have come with, but do you fear for us?’ He replied: ‘Yes. Indeed the hearts are in between the two Fingers of Allah’s Fingers. He changes them as He wills.”’ (Tirmidhī 3522)

Let others enjoy your company.
You might have a lot of very different-minded people around, classmates, family etc. and simply being around them feels like a chore, listening to them speak about mundane events and celebrities and whatnot can be heavily tiring.
But think about it, if they don't spend time with you, they will spend it with other people, people who do not want their good, people with hidden motives who will drive Muslims even further away from the deen rather than closer to it.
That is why even if it gets hard sometimesm try to spend quality time with people around you and give subtle da'wah on small things that can help that specific person, some people like to hear things straight to their face and others will be more sensitive to a less direct approach, that's for you to find out.
The way to guidance isn't always arguments and debates, while they're useful, one can simply have a good character and more importantly self-respect and respect for the deen for people around him to smell the fragrance of Tawheed and follow the correct way.
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one. People asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "By preventing him from oppressing others."
[Sahih al-Bukhari 2444]

A person should know the truth so he can act upon it. And the person should know falsehood so he can stay away from it. If a person does not know falsehood, he will fall into it and he will not know it."
