مختصر الجواب الصحيح لابن تيمية 👇

عن ابن عباس في قوله تعالى: {يوم تبيض وجوه وتسود وجوه} فأما الذين ابيضت وجوههم: فأهل السنة والجماعة، وأولو العلم, وأما الذين اسودت وجوههم: فأهل البدع والضلالة.

From Ibn 'Abbās regarding the saying of Allāh, the Exalted:
{On the Day [some] faces will be bright and [some] faces will be dark} [Āl ʿImrān 3:106]: "As for those whose faces are brightened: they are the people of the Sunnah and the Jamāʿah, and the possessors of knowledge. And as for those whose faces are darkened: they are the people of innovation and misguidance."
