Finanzministerium streicht Haltefristverlängerung von 10 Jahren

Bisher galt für Kryptowährungen, die für Staking und Lending genutzt wurden, eine Haltefrist von zehn Jahren. Diese soll nun fallen.

- Das Finanzministerium streicht die Haltefristverlängerung für Kryptowährungen, mit denen Gewinne aus Staking und Lending erzielt wurden.
- Das Bundesfinanzministerium gab die Entscheidung im Rahmen des ersten Blockchain-Roundtable der FDP bekannt. Im finalen Entwurf für ein Steuergesetz für Kryptowährungen wird die Haltefristverlängerung nicht vorkommen, heißt es dort.
- Bei Staking und Lending sperrt man seine Kryptowährungen für einen Zeitraum in ein Netzwerk und erhält dafür Belohnungen, beispielsweise neue Coins.
- Bisher galt: Kryptowährungen mussten nach dem Betrieb von Staking und Lending zehn Jahre gehalten werden, um steuerfrei verkauft zu werden.
- Im Gegensatz dazu gilt normalerweise bei Kryptowährungen nur eine Haltefrist von einem Jahr.
- Grundlage für diese Verlängerung war das Gesetz § 23 Abs. 1 Satz 1 Nr. 2 Satz 4 EStG. Im Wortlaut hieß es: „Bei Wirtschaftsgütern im Sinne von Satz 1, aus deren Nutzung als Einkunftsquelle zumindest in einem Kalenderjahr Einkünfte erzielt werden, erhöht sich der Zeitraum auf zehn Jahre.“

An absurd COVID-19 bill by radical leftist Road Island Senator Samuel W. Bell says that residents who refuse the vaccine and its booster shots are subjected to fines and pay more income tax unless they receive an exemption.

Bell introduced Rhode Island Senate Bill S2552 on March 1. As of last week, the bill had not been passed into law is currently in review by the Senate Health and Human Services committee. S2552 states eligible Rhode Island residents would have to be vaccinated against COVID.

If they reject, they could face a $50 monthly fine and pay double the state income tax. There are also fines for unvaccinated children under the age of 16 that would be imposed on the parents.
