Instead it has canals, paved streets and around 400 bridges.
When you visit you can take a boat (which can be very expensive in the summer) to get around or walk along the canals and the narrow streets.

This is "Storfjorden" which translated means "The Great Fjord" and it is around 110km long.
Its deepest point is 676m.
It branches off into four smaller fjords including the famous Geirangerfjord.
A typical west coast fjord which is loved by the visitors that come here.

Norway is home to 9 of the 20 highest waterfalls in the world.
Although this waterfall is not among those, it has a fall of 240 m which is still very impressive!
This waterfall is the first of 5 major waterfalls in the Geirangerfjord.
