There are many Fjords to cross, so a lot of time are spent on ferries ⛴, when you need to go from one place to another.

Have you ever seen a more beautiful farm gate 🚜 than this with the 2 cows 🐮 ?

I really like the attention to detail when manufacturing this gate.

I think that is a good lesson for us all to learn.

To do everything diligently, as serving the Lord.

This is Skageflaa, an old farm on a mountain ledge 250 meters above the famous Geirangerfjord in Norway. 🇳🇴

People actually lived here,  and small children were tied with ropes to the housewalls so that they would not fall off the edge.

The farm could feed up to125 goats, 8-10 cows and a couple of horses.

The fields around the farm were used for growing grain.

In 1918 the last people moved out, and it is now a popular tourist attraction.

In the Norwegian 🇳🇴 mountains 🏔 there are a lot of small huts like this.

They are used for vacation and in the weekends, when a lot of people go to the mountains.

Did you know the Italians love biking? 🇮🇹

If you go to Italy you will see everyone has a bike. 🚴‍♂

They also have plenty of biking trails too.

Like the one in the picture.

I know it looks steep but just make sure to stay on the gravelled road an you'll be just fine 😂.

What a way to see the beautiful nature. Enjoy. 😄

This nice flower is growing in a valley in the Norwegian 🇳🇴 mountains 🏔

If you look close, you see the bumble bee 🐝 going in for landing.

Isn't it fantastic that even in the mountains God has provided bees to pollinate the flowers so we can enjoy the flowers 🌺.

Do you know the story behind the Norwegian flag?

From around 1600 the Danish flag 🇩🇰 was used in Norway because Norway was in union with Denmark.

But in 1814 Norway proclaimed independence and put a lion in the flag.

It did not last long before Norway came under Sweden instead. 🇸🇪

In 1821 it was decided that the Norwegian flag would look like this 🇳🇴

But it was not until 1905 that Norway got completely independent.

Because of that and because Norway was occupied by the Germans during WW2, Norwegians appreciate their country and are very patriotic. 🇳🇴🇳🇴
